Most first conversations with Coquitlam owners cover the same ground: money, time, control and trust. The answers above are the ones we give on the phone. A handful of topics deserve a longer explanation, so here they are.
Frequently asked questions
What does CoquitlamMarketing.ca do?
We plan and run digital marketing for Coquitlam trades and local businesses: local SEO, Google Ads, growth-area campaigns and multilingual marketing. We also advise owners on pricing, service mix and expansion. We are not a contractor and never install, repair or service anything.
How much does it cost?
Growth costs $1,999 monthly on rolling terms, or $1,499 a month on annual billing, with Elite and Enterprise plans above that. Coquitlam clients add 5% GST, and ad spend is paid directly to Google or Meta.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. Plans are month to month with 30 days' notice. Annual billing is optional and simply lowers the monthly rate.
How soon will we see results?
Paid search can bring calls within the first couple of weeks. Local SEO usually shows early movement in two to three months and builds over six to twelve. We'll tell you up front which to expect from your plan.
We tried an agency before and got nothing. Why is this different?
Ask what the last agency reported. If it was clicks and rankings, nobody was measuring jobs. We start with call tracking and a cost-per-lead ceiling from your own numbers, and we report booked work. If something isn't paying, we say so and change it.
Who owns the website, ad accounts and Google Business Profile?
You do. Everything is registered to your business from the start. If you leave, you keep your accounts, data, domain, website files and tracking numbers.
Can you promise first-page rankings or a number of leads?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Rankings and lead volume depend on competition, reviews, budget and your own capacity. We commit to the work, the method and honest reporting.
What will our monthly report show?
Calls, texts and emails by channel, cost per lead, booked jobs where you share them, what changed this month and what we plan next. It's written in plain language, and you can ask questions about any line.
Do you work with trades other than HVAC?
Yes. This site serves plumbers, electricians, roofers, renovators, landscapers, cleaners and other home-service firms, plus local shops and clinics. Our published case studies are results from our HVAC work, and we're clear about that.
Do you serve Port Coquitlam, Port Moody and Burnaby too?
Yes, as part of a Coquitlam-centred service area. Most clients serve at least one neighbouring city, and we plan budgets to match where you actually work.
Can you market in Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese or Persian?
Yes, where your customers search that way and someone on your team can respond in the language. All copy is written or checked by fluent speakers.
Do you buy or sell leads?
No. Enquiries from your campaigns come directly to your phone and inbox. We never share them with other businesses.
Do you have a Coquitlam office?
No. We are part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, headquartered in Vancouver, BC. You reach us by call, text or email at (604) 632-4959 or Ali@Sedighi.ca.
Before you hire any marketing company
Whoever you hire, including us, ask these questions first. The answers tell you more than any sales deck.
- Who will own the ad account and Google Business Profile? It should be your business, with the agency as a user.
- What will the report lead with? Look for calls, leads and jobs, not impressions.
- What happens if I cancel? You should keep every account, file and number.
- Who will I talk to each month? Get a name, not a department.
- What's the most you'd let a lead cost me? A good answer comes from your margins.
Our answers to all five are on the about page.
How pricing and ad spend fit together
There are two separate costs: the plan fee, which pays for our work, and ad spend, which goes directly to Google or Meta. Keeping them separate means you can see exactly what each click cost and stop spending at any time. The pricing page has a worked monthly budget you can adjust to your own numbers.
A common mistake is choosing the cheapest plan and the smallest ad budget at the same time. If the ad budget is too small to produce a handful of leads a week, there's no data to learn from. Better to run one channel properly than three channels badly.
What we need from you
Marketing works faster when the owner stays involved for a few minutes a week. We'll ask you to:
- share a rough list of past jobs by area and value, once
- tell us which leads became jobs, ideally weekly
- answer calls and texts promptly, or let us set up missed-call text-back
- send photos of real work so pages and profiles show your team, not stock images
Contracts, notice and leaving
Plans run month to month. To stop, give 30 days' notice and the work winds down at the end of that period. Annual billing is available at a lower monthly rate, but it's optional, and we'd rather you choose it after a few months of seeing results than on day one.
When a client leaves, we make the handover simple:
- Admin access to your ad accounts, Google Business Profile and analytics stays with you; we remove our own user access.
- Website files, domains and hosting details are confirmed as registered to your business.
- Tracking numbers are either transferred to you or pointed back to your main line, so no calls are lost.
- You get a final report summarising what ran, what worked and what we'd do next.
Owning your own marketing assets should be the default, not a perk. If you ever move on, ask your next provider to be added as a user on the same accounts rather than rebuilding them; your call history, reviews and search data stay intact that way, and nothing has to be recreated from scratch.
If you're unsure marketing is the problem
Sometimes it isn't. If calls arrive but don't book, the fix may be faster callbacks, clearer quotes or adjusted pricing. If you're already turning work away, the next step may be hiring rather than advertising. We'll say so on the first call, even if it means you don't need us yet.
Where to learn more
If you'd like to understand the thinking before a call, start with the guides. What a Coquitlam lead is worth covers the budget maths, and trust signals homeowners check explains what makes people call one business instead of another. The services hub explains each service in detail.
When you're ready, go to the contact page. Call, text or email, and you'll speak with a senior strategist.
